ManTech to Support Analysis of Future of U.S. Air Force Warfighting
Herndon, Virginia-based ManTech International Incorporated won a five-year $37 million task order to help the U.S. Air Force (USAF) assess, plan and optimize future warfighting. Under the contract, ManTech will support USAF Headquarters Air Force Studies, Analyses, and Assessments Directorate (AF/A9) for support on the DoD Information Analysis Center's (DoD IAC) Cyber Security Technical Area Task (CSTAT) Multi-Award Contract (MAC). The AF/A9F analyzes air, space, and joint campaigns. ManTech’s mission is to help AF/A9F optimize planning, programming, and budgeting of innovative technologies that will shape the future of USAF warfighting. "ManTech has been a proud partner to AF/A9 for over 20 years, helping ensure a robust, modern Air Force able to tackle any and all challenges presented," said Daniel Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Mission Solutions and Services Group. The DoD IAC serves as a bridge between the warfighter and the acquisition community, offering an enhanced research base of Scientific and Technical Information (STI) and flexible MACs that yield new STI for reuse within DoD daily. ManTech will provide model and simulation development, configuration management, modification, training and analysis support for various engagement, mission and campaign level models to help AF/A9 meet its mission.
