Raytheon is Repairing F/A-18 Radar Pod

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded $15,133,628 for a ceiling-priced delivery order (N00383-22-F-WV01) under a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00383-20-G-VW01) for the repair of pod aircraft unit components of the advanced targeting forward-looking infrared radar system in support of the F/A-18 aircraft. Work will be performed in Basildon, Essex, England (65%); and McKinney, Texas (35%). Work is expected to be completed by May 2025. Annual working capital (Navy) funds in the amount of $7,415,478 will be obligated at the time of award, and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One company was solicited for this sole-source requirement under authority 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1), with one offer received. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.
