Cubic to Enhance CBRN Counter Proliferation Program
Cubic Applications Incorporated, San Diego, has been awarded a $9,900,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for solutions to enhance the U.S. Air Force Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) counter proliferation and survivability missions program. The contractor will provide research, test, evaluate and analyze short-term and long-term CBRN technologies. Work will be performed at San Diego; Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio; MacDill Air Force Base, Florida; and Camp Smith, Hawaii, and is expected to be complete by January 5, 2020. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with one offer received. Fiscal year 2014 research and development funds in the amount of $2,688,779 are being obligated at the time of award for the first task order. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, is the contracting activity (FA8650-15-D-6580).
