DARPA Awards Geosynchronous Imaging Contract
Ball Aerospace Corporation, Boulder, Colorado, is being awarded a $36,928,217 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The work is for the Moire Program, which seeks to provide persistent, real-time, tactical video, and missile launch detection and tracking to the war fighter through the development of diffractive membrane optics may facilitate low-cost geosynchronous imaging. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the contracting activity.
