DCCA Wins Range Network Modernization Contract
Data Computer Corp. of America (DCCA), Ellicott City, Maryland, has been awarded a $79,910,000 fixed-price-incentive (firm target) contract order under the General Services Administration’s Alliant Small Business Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GS-06F-0651Z) for the Western Range Modernization Network program. The contractor will provide upgrades to the mission communications core at the Western Range from asynchronous transfer mode to Internet protocol v6 (IPv6). Work will be performed at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; Pillar Point Air Force Station, California; Point Mugu, California; and Santa Ynez Peak, California, and is expected to be complete by April 28, 2021. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with three offers received. Fiscal 2014 procurement funds in the amount of $24,800,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The Range and Network Division, Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (FA8806-16-F-0002).
