Welcome New Committee Members

The 2023 election voting is complete and AFCEA joins committee leadership in welcoming the new Intelligence Committee members. The pool of candidates was exceptional. This year’s class brings a diverse set of professional experiences and backgrounds, and the Intelligence Committee—and AFCEA International—are better organizations by virtue of the committee members’ participation.

The committee, led by Chair Lewis Shepherd, selected a new vice chair, Sue Kalweit, managing director, Deloitte.

EPIC serves as an extension of the longstanding and highly regarded AFCEA Intelligence Committee—with a refined focus on developing young leaders by providing content, networking events and opportunities for members to give back to the intelligence community.  

Emerging professionals who are 40 and younger and who represent the public and private sectors comprise this vital advisory committee that plays a pivotal role in enhancing AFCEA’s outreach and education to the IC.
