Draper Lab to Test and Demonstrate Guidance Technologies for the Missile Defense Agency

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory Inc. of Cambridge, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $36,913,696 noncompetitive cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. Under the contract, Draper will provide technical and analytical support for Missile Defense Agency related to evaluation, maturation, integration, test and demonstration of leading edge Guidance, Navigation and Control technologies. The effort also includes research analysis on sensors, modeling and simulation, radiation hardening and survivability and precision targeting as well as weapons development. The work will be performed in Cambridge and Huntsville, Alabama with an expected completion date of July 31, 2022. The period of performance is from August 2017 to July 2022. One offer was solicited and one offer was received. Fiscal year 2017 research and development funds in the amount of $240,000 are being obligated on this award. The Missile Defense Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (HQ0147-17-C-0046).
