DRS Wins Contract To Provide Communications Systems To Navy Aegis Ships

The U.S. Navy has awarded DRS Technologies, Inc., a $14 million contract to provide a modernized integrated voice communications system for Aegis cruisers and destroyers. The contract includes options, which if exercised, could extend the work to 2014 and bring the overall total value to $59 million.
