ROTC Awards Honor Top STEM Students

The AFCEA Educational Foundation sends wholehearted congratulations to all the recipients of this year’s AFCEA ROTC Honor Awards.

The ROTC Honor Award is designed to recognize ROTC cadet and midshipman achievement in leadership and academics. Students receiving the award must be U.S. citizens and rising seniors majoring in electronics; electrical, aerospace or communications engineering; mathematics; physics; computer science or technology; information management systems; or related technical disciplines. Individual professors of aerospace studies or military or naval science select the recipients in accordance with the appropriate service department regulations.

“This award is more than motivation to succeed,” says Midshipman Seth Carithers, a member of the Naval ROTC program at the University of Nebraska and one of this year’s honorees.

AFCEA is proud to recognize the hard work of these cadets and midshipmen achieving academic excellence in STEM majors while balancing ROTC responsibilities.
