Energy Department Receives Wireless Boost Via Fortress Technologies

Fortress Technologies has won a contract from the Department of Energy Savannah River National Laboratory to develop a series of 802.11 wireless network components. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will produce components that can be integrated into a layered solution to meet National Security Agency security requirements mandated for classified wireless data transmission up to the secret level. Fortress products supporting this effort include the FC-X Security Controller, ES520 Secure Wireless Bridge and ES210 Tactical Mesh Point.
