General Dynamics To Support BRAC Moves in National Capital Region

General Dynamics Information Technology has received a $146.2 million, three-year contract for Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) support by the U.S. Defense Department's Washington Headquarters Services (WHS). Under the contract,  General Dynamics will provide turnkey enterprise information technology network infrastructure services to assist the nearly 6,400 employees relocating from Washington, D.C., area offices to the Mark Center facility in Alexandria, Virginia. The company will install and implement multilevel networks and systems, provide testing and information assurance, and deploy communications equipment.
