Harris Awarded $400 Million to Support Tactical Radios

Harris Corp., Rochester, New York, has been awarded a maximum $403,264,139 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for spare parts supporting various tactical radio systems. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(2). This is a five-year contract with no option periods. Location of performance is New York, with a January 5, 2022, performance completion date. Using customers are Army and Defense Logistics Agency. Types of appropriation are fiscal 2017 through fiscal 2022 Army working capital; and defense working capital funds, funded in the year of delivery order issuance. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (SPRBL1-17-D-0002).
