Hecker To Command U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Africa

Lt. Gen. James B. Hecker, USAF, has been appointed to the grade of general, with assignment as commander, U.S. Air Forces in Europe; commander, U.S. Air Forces Africa; commander, Allied Air Command; and director, Joint Air Power Competence Centre, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
