Innovative Defense Technologies Secures Contract from Navy for Automated Test, Re-Test Services

Innovative Defense Technologies LLC,* Arlington, Virginia, was awarded on June 18 a $157,212,161 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-no-fee and firm-fixed-price contract for Automated Test and Re-Test engineering, design, development, implementation and test support requirements. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $748,572,910. Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia (62%); Mount Laurel, New Jersey (32%); San Diego (5%); and various other locations (1%), and is expected to be completed by June 2027. If all options are exercised, work will continue through June 2031. Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $43,253,537 (96%); fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $963,000 (2%); and fiscal 2025 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $712,219 (2%), will be obligated at time of award; of which $963,000 will expire at end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(5) (authorized by statute).
