FLIR to Provide High Definition Surveillance in Afghanistan

FLIR Systems Incorporated, Wilsonville, Oregon, is being awarded a $10,408,342 contract modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option to procure 14 380-high definition surveillance systems in support of the Persistent Ground Surveillance System Program that is currently fielded for the Army. Work will be performed in Afghanistan and Yuma, Arizona, and is expected to be completed in April 2013. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey is the contracting activity.
