Lockheed to Enable F-35 Mission Trainer Interoperability

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $66,222,453 undefinitized contract action against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-14-G-0020) for the design, development, fabrication, integration, delivery, installation and testing of the technical solution to enable full interoperability of the Distributed Mission Training capability for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida (90 percent); and Fort Worth, Texas (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in March 2018. Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $7,239,945 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
