Lockheed Martin Awarded Ballistic Missile Defense Contract

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $1 billion contract by the U.S. Defense Department's Missile Defense Agency for continued development and evolution of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Weapon System. Under the contract, the company will design, develop, integrate, test, deliver and install additional Aegis BMD systems in U.S. and allied naval vessels.
