Lockheed Martin Wins Navy Electronic Warfare Systems Contract
The U.S. Navy has awarded Lockheed Martin an initial contract valued at $9.9 million to design an electronic warfare system for its surface ships. Under the contract, the company will produce a preliminary design for the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program Block 2 Upgrade by June 2010. The contract includes options that, if exercised, total nearly $167 million.
