McDonnell Douglas to Supply U.S. Navy with Exercise Missiles

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, has received a $149.8 million, firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of nine standoff land attack missile-expanded response (SLAM-ER) exercise missiles for the U.S. Navy. The missiles will be retrofitted and certified from SLAMs to SLAM-ERs. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
