NASA To Receive Satellite Constellation Modernization Under Award to General Dynamics

General Dynamics C4 Systems has won a seven-year contract from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center for the Space Network Ground Segment Sustainment project. Under the terms of the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, the company will modernize the ground system and network for NASA's Tracking Data and Relay Satellite constellation. The contract has a total potential value of approximately $642.2 million with options over the period of performance from June 2010 through June 2017.
