Navy Awards Missiles Engineering Contract

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Arizona, is awarded a $74,807,572 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Standard Missiles 2 and 6 engineering and technical support. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $378,588,566. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Canada, Australia, Japan, and Denmark. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona (95%); Camden, Arkansas (2%); St. Petersburg, Florida (2%); and Huntsville, Alabama (1%), and is expected to be completed by September 2024. If all options are exercised, work will continue through September 2028. FMS funds (Canada) in the amount of $2,304,525 (26%); FMS funds (Australia) in the amount of $2,304,525 (26%); fiscal 2023 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,550,000 (18%); FMS funds (Japan) in the amount of $945,706 (11%); fiscal 2023 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $867,000 (10%); fiscal 2022 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $430,000 (5%); and FMS funds (Denmark) in the amount of $352,500 (4%), will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1) (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-23-C-5410).
