Navy Contracts Molecular Biomarker Technologies
Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, is awarded a $14,058,121 cost-only cooperative agreement (N66001-23-2-4042) to develop, improve and integrate molecular biomarker component technologies that support warfighter readiness. Work will be performed in Boston, Massachusetts; Storrs, Connecticut; Niskayuna, New York; and Toronto, Ontario. Funds in the amount of $1,516,140 will be obligated at the time of award. Fiscal 2023 and 2024 funds will be obligated using research, development and test and evaluation funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). This is a four-year agreement with no option periods. The period of performance is from September 26, 2023, to September 25, 2027. This agreement was competitively procured via a DARPA broad agency announcement solicitation (HR001122S0044) on the beta.sam.gov website. Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
