NCI Awarded IT Service Task Orders
NCI Inc., Reston, Va., recently announced it was awarded two task orders aggregating $6 million under the Total Engineering and Information Systems (TEIS) III contract for information technology (IT) services in support of the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command, Fort Huachuca Engineering Directorate and Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate. These task orders represent both new and follow-on work for NCI. The Fort Huachuca task order spans a base period of 13.5 months. The Fort Detrick task order consists of a 12-month base period. For the Fort Huachuca Engineering Directorate, NCI will provide information systems engineering, furnishing, installation, testing, securing, commissioning and training for the new XVIIIth Airborne Corps Mission Command Facility C4I/IT Visual Information Systems at Fort Bragg.
NCI will continue to provide the Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate with flexible quality control for a wide variety of IT and auxiliary support systems at U.S. Army locations worldwide. These include copper and fiber optic cable infrastructure, manhole and duct systems, and hardware for data and voice networks for core backbone networks. Support also will include user building premise distribution systems, local area network switches, wireless local area network devices, synchronous optical networks, voice systems and integrated services digital networks.
The TEIS III contract is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract awarded in March 2011.
