Northrop Awarded $262 Million for Unmanned Vertical Take-off Vehicles
Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, San Diego, California, is being awarded an undefinitized contract action with a not-to -exceed ceiling of $262,336,248. The contract provides for the development, manufacture, and test of two vertical take-off and landing tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (VTUAVs); production of six air vehicles; and spare parts in support of the VTUAV endurance upgrade rapid deployment capability effort. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
