Northrop Grumman Wins $189 Million DISA Task Order

Northrop Grumman Information Systems (NGIS), Reston, Virginia, has been awarded a $189 million Defense Information Systems Agency task for the Host Based Security System (HBSS) program. HBSS is a flexible, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS)-based program that monitors, detects, and counters against known cyber-threats to the Defense Department enterprise in accordance with the Enterprise-wide Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense Solutions Steering Group. DISA serves as the lead organization providing Defense Department program oversight for defense for the HBSS solution. McAfee Incorporated, Santa Clara, California, is a subcontractor.
