Raytheon Awarded $106 Million for Joint Standoff Weapon C-1 Production
The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon Company a $106 million contract for production of the Joint Standoff Weapon C-1 (JSOW). The JSOW is a family of low-cost air-to-ground weapons that employs an integrated Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System that guides the weapon to the target. JSOW C-1 adds moving maritime target capability and a two-way data link to the combat-proven JSOW.
