Raytheon Receives $254 Million DDG 1000 Computing Contract
Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, is being awarded a not-to-exceed $254 million letter contract modification for development, test, and delivery of DDG 1000 total ship computing environment software for the Self Defense Test Ship, post-delivery availability, post-shakedown availability, SPY-3 volume search software and firmware development, as well as software maintenance in support of the Zumwalt-class destroyer program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
