Raytheon Receives Contract for Continued Support for LPD 17

Raytheon Company has been awarded a U.S. Navy contract for up to $23 million for life cycle engineering and support for the LPD 17 class of amphibious warfare ships. In addition to the prime contractor role for life cycle engineering and support for integrated shipboard electronics, Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems is the total ship electronics systems integrator for the LPD 17 program. The company provides the shipboard wide area network, integrated product data environment, total ship information management and integrated ship electronics architecture for the LPD 17 class of ships.
