Raytheon Receives Contract to Update Selected Zumwalt Class Destroyer Mission Systems Equipment

Raytheon Company's Integrated Defense Systems is being awarded a $9 million contract modification by the U.S. Navy for the nonrecurring engineering effort to update selected Zumwalt Class Destroyer Mission Systems Equipment for initial integration efforts at Wallops Island, Virginia, and follow-on installation on board the Navy's Self Defense Test Ship to mitigate production and integration risk and conduct at sea testing in support of the Zumwalt test and evaluation master plan.
