Raytheon Receives Multi-Spectral Targeting Contracts
Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, was awarded a $12,814,344 firm-fixed-price contract for 16 turret units and eight electronics units for the Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems for Navy MH-60 aircraft. The system is an airborne, electro-optic, forward-looking infra-red, turreted sensor package that provides long-range surveillance, high-altitude target acquisition, tracking, range-finding, and laser designation, and for the HELLFIRE missile, and for all tri-service and NATO laser guided munitions. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-12-G-JQ66).
