Raytheon Receives Ship Self-Defense System Support Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon Company a $9.6 million modification to an existing contract to serve as the platform systems engineering agent for the Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS). Under the contract, the company will integrate complex warfighting improvements with SSDS for U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and amphibious ships.
