Raytheon Wins Phase-Two Contract for Nano-Composite Optical Ceramics

The Office of Naval Research has awarded Raytheon Company a $6.9 million phase-two contract to develop a new class of nano-composite optical materials. The award is a continuation of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's Nanocomposite Optical Ceramics project, which seeks to enhance missile capabilities through improved seeker performance.
