SAIC Supports U.S. Navy C4ISR Efforts

Science Applications International Corp. Inc., McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $12,544,423 option year under a previously awarded, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-reimbursement-type contract (N66001-12-D-0061) for support of technology insertion; software and systems engineering; modeling and simulation; system level and systems integration testing; and integrated logistics in support of communications, information technology and other command, control, communications, computers and intelligence efforts. Work will be performed in San Diego (85 percent); and McLean, Virginia (15 percent), and it is expected to be completed by February 11, 2017. No funds will be obligated at the time of award, and contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Funding will be obligated via task orders as they are issued using operations and maintenance (Navy); and research, development, test and evaluation funds. This contract was competitively procured via request for proposal N66001-11-R-0026 published on the Federal Business Opportunities website and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command e-Commerce Central website. This contract is part of a multiple award contract under which two awardees will compete for task periods during the ordering period. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, is the contracting activity.
