Small Businesses Added to $7 Billion Solar Contract

Incorporated, Newport News, Virginia (W912DY-14-D-0035); BITHENERGY Incorporated, Baltimore (W912DY-14-D-0064); Bright Light Federal LLC, Littleton, Colorado (W912DY-14-D-0065); Ecoplexus, San Francisco (W912DY-14-D-0066); Essex Construction LLC, Upper Marlboro, Maryland (W912DY-14-D-0067); Indian Energy LLC, Newport Beach, California (W912DY-14-D-0068); Infinity Development Partners LLC, New Braunfels, Texas (W912DY-14-D-0069); Legatus6 LLC, Chevy Chase, Maryland (W912DY-14-D-0070); Scatec Solar North America Incorporated, Sausalito, California (W912DY-14-D-0072); SunLight General Capital LLC, New York (W912DY-14-D-0073); and Third Sun Solar LLC, Athens, Ohio (W912DY-14-D-0074), are being added as awardees for the solar technology category of power awards under solicitation W912DY-11-R-0036. These companies, as well as those previously announced, will share a maximum $7 billion firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for use in competing and awarding power purchase agreements for solar technology. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
