U.S. Army Awards $988 Million for Soldier Radio Waveform Systems

Exelis Inc., Fort Wayne, Ind. (W15P7T-14-D-0012); General Dynamics C4 Systems Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz. (W15P7T-14-D-0013); Harris Corp., Rochester, N.Y. (W15P7T-14-D-0014, W15P7T-14-D-0015); and Thales Defense & Security Inc., Clarksburg, Md. (W15P7T-14-D-0016), were awarded a $988 million firm-fixed-price contract for soldier radio waveform appliqué radio systems for use by brigade combat teams. Funding and work location will be determined with each order. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen, Md., is the contracting activity.
