BAE to Provide Interrogator System Antennas
BAE Systems, Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc., Nashua, New Hampshire, is being awarded a $29,967,408 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-incentive fee contract for the procurement of six OE-120(A)/UPX antenna groups for the Navy. The OE-120(A)/UPX antenna group is a component of the AN/UPX-29(V) interrogator system and is procured for use on DDG 119 through DDG 122, and LHA 8 class ships, and for the Missile Defense Agency. In addition, this contract provides for an engineering change proposal for system obsolescence upgrades. Work will be performed in Nashua, New Hampshire, and is expected to be completed in May 2018. Fiscal 2013, 2014, and 2015 shipbuilding conversion (Navy); fiscal 2014 and 2015 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy); and fiscal 2015 procurement (Defense agency) funding in the amount of $15,721,018 are being obligated at time of award, $686,750 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-15-C-0038).
