Boeing Awarded Sustainment Funds for P-8A Test Aircraft

The Boeing Co., Seattle, is being awarded a $29,318,485 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order (3058) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-11-G-0001) for the procurement of supplies and services to sustain the P-8A multi-mission maritime aircraft (MMA) test aircraft, the Patuxent River System Integration Lab and associated support equipment in support of the P-8A MMA program. Work will be performed in Seattle (48 percent); Patuxent River, Maryland (38 percent); Atlanta (10 percent); and Dallas (4 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2016. Fiscal 2015 research, development, test, and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $15,800,000 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
