Georgia Tech to Research Cutting-Edge Weapons

Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp., Georgia Tech Research Institute, Atlanta, Georgia, has been awarded a $24,500,000 indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity cost contract. Contractor will provide research, analysis, integration, systems engineering, development, flyable and non-flyable technology demonstrators, prototypes, test and evaluation, and rapid delivery of cutting-edge weapon solutions. Work will be performed at Atlanta, Georgia, and is expected to be complete by December 21, 2020. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2015 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $350,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Munitions Directorate, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity. (FA8651-16-D-0049)
