Raytheon Receives Dual Band Radar Funds

Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $38.6 million not-to-exceed modification to previously awarded contract for non-recurring engineering, detail design, software development, and production planning efforts required to ensure dual band radar is compatible with CVN 78-class power system interface. This contract modification dual band radar is compatible with the emergency diesel generator, the main turbine generator, and the electrical distribution system specifications of CVN 78-class power system interface. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC, is the contracting activity.
