Raytheon to Support Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems
Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded $8,449,632 for cost-plus-fixed-fee job order 0052 under a previously awarded contract (N00164-12-G-JQ66) for procurement of depot support for the Multi-spectral Targeting Systems (MTS) and data for the Department of Defense. The MTS system is an airborne, electro-optic, forward-looking infrared, turreted sensor package that provides long-range surveillance, high-altitude target acquisition, tracking, range finding, and laser designation for all tri-service and NATO laser guided munitions. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by March 2018. Fiscal 2014 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funding in the amount of $1,686,467 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana, is the contracting activity.
