Thales To Equip French Helicopters With Self-Defense Suite

The French Defence Procurement Agency has awarded Thales a contract to supply and install eight self-protection systems for French military EC725 Caracal Helicopters. The self-defense suite consists of radar warning, missile approach warning, laser warning and chaff/flare dispenser systems. The order brings the total number of French EC725's equipped with the system to 19 aircraft.
