U.S. Air Force Modifies Satellite Communications Contract with Lockheed Martin Space Systems

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Corporation's contract with the U.S. Air Force has been modified not to exceed $119,160,000. This action will supply the Advanced Extremely High Frequency Satellite Communications System, which provides secure, survivable communications to the U.S. warfighters during all levels of conflict and is the protected backbone of the Department of Defense Military Satellite Communications architecture.
