U.S. Air Force Procures Additional Reaper Aircraft

General Atomics - Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, California, has been awarded a fixed-price incentive firm and firm-fixed-price $72,068,072 modification (01) to order 077 on the basic ordering agreement FA8620-10-G-3038. Contractor will produce eight additional MQ-9 Reaper Block 5 production configuration aircraft. Work will be performed at Poway, California, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2017. Fiscal 2014 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $72,068,072 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
