U.S. Marines Award Recruiting Information System Contract

Buchanan & Edwards Inc., Arlington, Virginia, is being awarded a maximum ceiling $19,500,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of the Marine Corps Recruiting Information Support System (MCRISS). The scope of this effort includes the design, development, management and deployment of an MCRISS offline recruiter client capability for Marine Corps recruiters. All work will be performed at the Marine Corps Recruiting Command, Quantico, Virginia. The term of the contract is an order period not to exceed 36 months, with an expected completion date of June 25, 2019. Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds (Marine Corps) in the amount of $1,139,727 for task order 0001 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with five offers received. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia, is the contracting activity (M67854-16-R-4800).
