CGI Federal to Support Data Center Migration

CGI Federal Incorporated, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a $9,807,114 hybrid, cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price task order (N00039-14-F-0029) against an existing GSA Alliant contract (GS00Q09BGD0022) for engineering services in support of the modernization, virtualization and migration of systems and applications from legacy data centers to authorized Department of Defense and Navy enterprise data centers, as well as commercial hosting facilities. This task order includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, which, if exercised, would bring the estimated cumulative value of the task order to $50,381,982. The work on this task order will be performed at various locations including the contractor's facility in Fairfax, Virginia and at Navy-mandated hosting facilities, including Navy Enterprise Data Centers, Defense Information Systems Agency, Navy Marine Corps Intranet/Next Generation Enterprise Network, and commercial hosting facilities. Work is expected to be completed in September 2015. If all options are exercised, work could continue through September 2019.
