Two Firms Awarded Unmanned Craft Contracts
Gibbs & Cox Incorporated, New York, New York, and QinetiQ North America Incorporated, Huntsville, Alabama, are each being awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for design and integration of manned and unmanned craft systems for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock, Combatant Craft Division. Gibbs and Cox is being awarded $10,799,969, QinetiQ $9,902,317. The contracts are for engineering and technical management support on all programs and projects related to the design and integration of systems for manned and unmanned craft. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.
