MILITARY ACADEMIES AWARDS

The AFCEA Educational Foundation presents approximately 150 awards for academic excellence in more than 30 educational institutions and training commands of the uniformed services each year.

ROTC HONOR AWARDS
Content

This award recognizes ROTC cadet and midshipman achievement in leadership and academics. Recipients of the ROTC Honor Award are required to be in their junior year of school and will be selected by individual professors of military science, naval science or aerospace studies in accordance with the appropriate service department regulations.

EDUCATION AWARDS FOR CHAPTERS
Content

Each year, the foundation recognizes individuals and chapters of AFCEA that have made a difference in supporting its mission. Information about how to submit a nomination for these awards is emailed to the chapters.

Distinguished Educational Foundation Support Award

This award recognizes an AFCEA chapter that has provided significant support to the AFCEA Educational Foundation. Candidates are accepted from AFCEA chapter presidents, Educational Foundation board members and AFCEA International board and executive committee members.

The Educational Foundation Awards Committee, comprising members of the Educational Foundation Board of Directors, selects the recipient. The award is presented in advance of a major AFCEA International event.

The Distinguished Educational Foundation Support award may not be conferred every year. In exceptional cases, a second award can be bestowed. Learn more.

Distinguished Achievement to the Educational Community Award

This award recognizes an AFCEA chapter supporting its local community with scholarships and K-12 STEM programs. Candidates for this award are accepted from AFCEA chapter presidents, Educational Foundation board members and AFCEA International board and executive committee members.

The Educational Foundation Awards Committee, comprising members of the Educational Foundation board of directors, selects the recipient. The award is presented in advance of a major AFCEA International event.

The Distinguished Achievement to the Education Community award may not be conferred every year. In exceptional cases, a second award can be bestowed.
