Afghanistan Procures Harris Radios for $1.7 Billion

Harris Corp., Rochester, New York, was awarded a $1.7 billion firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiyear foreign military sales contract (Afghanistan) to procure Harris radios, ancillaries, spare parts and services. Bids were solicited via the Internet, with one received. The estimated completion date is June 15, 2021. Funding and work location will be determined with each order. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W91CRB-16-D-5006).
