Alion Awarded Advanced Materials Contract

Alion Science and Technology Corporation, McLean, Virginia, has been awarded a $23,936,197 delivery order (0069) on the Advanced Materials, Manufacturing and Testing Information Analysis Center (AMMTIAC) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity cost-plus-fixed-fee sole-source contract (FA4600-06-D-0003) for Rapid Engineering Solutions for Lifecycle Support. AMMTIAC's objective is to address issues of mechanical, electronic and electro-mechanical systems and sub-systems obsolescence and hard-to-acquire parts. The Air Force Installation Contracting Agency, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, is the contracting activity.
