Boeing Awarded $135 Million for Infrared Search and Track System
The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $135 million cost-plus-incentive-fee, firm-fixed-price contract for the engineering, manufacturing, and development of the F/A-18E/F Infrared Search and Track System, a long-wave infrared detection system that targets airborne vehicles in a radar-denied environment. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
